Common questions.

How do I reset my streak?
Go to Settings → Danger Zone → Reset All Data. This clears your streak and all journal entries and cannot be undone.
My streak isn't counting correctly.
Make sure your device time is set automatically: Settings → General → Date & Time → Set Automatically. A manually set clock can cause miscalculations.
I got a new phone — can I recover my data?
Yes. If iCloud was enabled on your old device, your streak and journal sync automatically when you sign into the same Apple ID on your new phone. Give it a few minutes.
Does Uprise require a subscription?
No. Core features — streak tracking, the SOS tool, and daily check-ins — are free forever. An optional premium tier is coming, but the heart of the app will never be paywalled.
Is my data private?
Completely. Your data lives on your device and syncs privately through your own iCloud. We never see it, store it on our servers, or sell it to anyone.
How does the SOS tool work?
The SOS tool offers guided breathing to calm your nervous system, and a one-tap option to contact someone in your support circle. Add your contacts in Settings.
What is the Surge Protector?
After two weeks of progress, a relapse preserves a portion of your streak (70% on the first, 40% on the second) instead of resetting to zero. It's science-backed — after 14 days, your brain has begun forming new pathways worth protecting.
